C Software Engineer with experience in Python

CodiLime is a software and network engineering industry expert and service partner for global networking hardware providers, software providers, and telecoms. The company has over 250 employees and operates since 2011. Their clients include tech startups and large companies across the US, Japan, Israel, and Europe. The project focuses on monitoring, maintaining, configuring, deploying, and improving enterprise router software.

• Strong proficiency in C with practical experience including low-level debugging
• Experience with build systems, specifically Bazel
• Experience in Python for test automation
• Strong analytical and debugging skills with hands-on experience in GDB, ltrace, and pprof
• English language skills at least at B2 level

Nice to have:

• Familiarity or willingness to learn the YANG data modeling language
• Experience writing and refactoring complex Bash scripts
• Basic knowledge of network protocols and networking device software architecture

• Maintain core system components and optimize for performance and speed
• Work on logging, monitoring, and telemetry features to improve error handling and system visibility
• Develop software mainly using Golang and C, and maintain or replace legacy Bash scripts
• Create automated tests using Python to cover regressions and improve test coverage
• Investigate complex bugs, analyze system calls, and multithreaded dependencies
• Participate in technical discussions to determine best implementation approaches
