Software Engineer

EazyStock is a "startup" within Syncron, a global market leading company developing solutions for after market service optimization. EazyStock works with small to medium-sized companies in Europe, Asia, and the USA to optimize inventories and achieve high customer satisfaction through cloud-based inventory optimization software.

• Computer Science degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 3+ years hands-on experience in professional software development.
• Experience with RESTful web-services, Spring Boot, and Angular.
• Experience with relational (PostgreSQL) and NoSQL database systems.
• Ability to contribute to software design discussions balancing functionality, usability, and performance.
• Experience using version control systems and CI/CD.
• Understanding of software development best practices, including code reviews and agile methodologies.
• Commitment to high standards of code quality, readability, and maintainability.
• Very good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong communication skills in English, both spoken and written.

Nice to have:

• Experience building cloud-hosted services, preferably on AWS.
• Experience building solutions with AI-powered features.

• Join the EazyStock engineering team and work closely with Quality Engineers, Product Owner, and User Experience Designer.
• Independently or collaboratively refine and implement user stories and technical tasks.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve technical problems requiring short investigations.
• Perform thorough code reviews ensuring delivery of high-quality, efficient code and decide on test needs.
• Create standalone technical documentation including code documentation, tutorials, and release notes.
