Software Engineer, Observability

CoreWeave is a publicly traded company (Nasdaq: CRWV) founded in 2017 that delivers a platform of technology, tools, and teams to enable innovators to build and scale AI. It specializes in infrastructure performance with technical expertise to support AI workloads. The role is within CoreWeave Europe, located in Warsaw, Poland, on the Observability team that builds and operates telemetry infrastructure including logging, metrics, and tracing platforms for GPU-based AI workloads.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 5+ years of experience designing, building, and operating large-scale distributed systems in production
• Proficiency in Go or Python with clean, resilient, testable production code skills
• Hands-on production experience with Kubernetes, containerization, and microservices architectures
• Experience delivering robust, scalable systems with automated testing and progressive releases
• Ability to analyze and decompose complex problems in elastic distributed architectures
• Proficiency with Helm, YAML-based configuration management, templating, and infrastructure-as-code
• Experience participating in on-call rotations for critical production systems

Nice to have:

• Hands-on experience with logging, tracing, or metrics platforms (Loki, ClickHouse, Elasticsearch, Prometheus, VictoriaMetrics, Grafana, Thanos)
• Familiarity with high-throughput data streaming systems (Kafka, Kafka Connect)
• Experience automating infrastructure provisioning using tools like Terraform
• Experience with OpenTelemetry for telemetry collection and instrumentation
• Exposure to modern AI workloads, GPU infrastructure, or MLOps tooling

• Design, build, and own core observability infrastructure and high-throughput telemetry pipelines
• Write resilient Go code for production systems
• Manage deployments using Kubernetes and Helm
• Optimize service performance, security, and durability
• Participate in on-call rotation to support critical production environments
• Collaborate across engineering teams to embed telemetry best practices across the platform
