Staff Software Engineer, Observability

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years professional experience in Software Engineering, SRE, DevOps, or related fields.
• Deep expertise in observability pillars using tools such as ClickHouse, Elastic, Loki, VictoriaMetrics, Prometheus, Thanos, and Grafana.
• Advanced skills with Kubernetes, containerisation, and microservices at scale.
• Proven leadership in production incident management and root cause analysis.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Nice to have:

• Experience running and scaling observability platforms in cloud provider environments.
• Hands-on experience administering large-scale, multi-cluster Kubernetes environments.
• Deep understanding of high-throughput data-streaming systems and telemetry ingestion pipelines.

• Build, maintain, and optimize observability platforms for logging, tracing, and metrics.
• Scale core telemetry systems to support expanding global infrastructure.
• Develop and refine monitoring and alerting frameworks.
• Automate interactions with CoreWeave's compute infrastructure layer.
• Manage production clusters and enforce deployment best practices.
• Advise engineers company-wide on observability usage.
• Lead incident management and conduct post-mortem analyses.
• Mentor engineers to promote technical excellence and collaboration.
