Data Engineer (PowerBI)

• Higher education in IT or related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role
• Experience working with data warehouses
• Good knowledge of public cloud computing, especially Azure, with hands-on experience using Azure DevOps, GitHub, Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Factory, and PySpark
• Advanced programming skills in Python
• Advanced knowledge of SQL and relational databases, preferably Oracle
• Experience in data modeling (star schema, facts/dimensions) and working with ETL systems
• Knowledge of PowerBI including data modeling and programming with DAX
• Practical knowledge of SAS Institute (SAS 4GL) is an advantage
• Ability to solve complex problems in heterogeneous environments (on-premise and cloud)
• Experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies

• Migration and modernization of ETL processes and Oracle data structures from on-premise to Azure cloud using Microsoft Fabric
• Maintaining and monitoring data feeding processes
• Creating efficient data models, including analytical models in PowerBI
• Optimizing processes regarding performance and cost
• Ensuring compliance with data privacy, security regulations, and integration of company security standards with Azure environment
• Collaborating with IT departments and external providers on problem analysis and resolution
• Working in a hybrid model with one weekly day on-site in Warsaw office
