Senior Murex Configuration and Environment Management Expert

This role is in the banking industry, focusing on Murex configuration, environment management, and project delivery in financial services, especially investment banking and risk management.

• BS or higher degree in Economics, Finance, or related scientific field.
• Detail-oriented, quick learner, self-starter.
• Minimum 5 years experience as system/business analyst or consultant/developer in Murex.
• Previous project experience in financial services, especially investment banking and risk management.
• Solid experience in gathering and writing requirements and functional specifications.
• Expertise in Murex system architecture.
• Proficient in shell scripting for automation and data management within Linux environments.
• Database knowledge, particularly with Oracle/SQL for managing Murex data.
• Proven experience with Murex EOD batch configuration and troubleshooting.
• Comfortable working in both Linux and Windows environments.
• Proficient in writing and executing SQL queries for data management.
• Experience performing regular maintenance activities for system reliability.

• Oversee Murex environments alongside database, backup, network, and security teams.
• Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and application issues.
• Conduct infrastructure reviews and redesign workflows for efficiency.
• Manage hardware and software requirements for Murex releases.
• Provide application monitoring support and ensure optimal performance in various environments.
• Facilitate smooth handover to Business-As-Usual post-release.
