Data Platform Developer

• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in production environments
• Strong knowledge of Apache Kafka, Kafka Streams, kSQL, and Kafka Connect
• Strong knowledge of Java and Spring Boot
• Experience with MongoDB and GraphQL
• Basic knowledge of Apache Iceberg
• Knowledge of Python
• Experience with Prometheus, Grafana, and OpenTelemetry
• Understanding of TLS, SASL, and ACLs
• Experience working in Scrum/Kanban environments and with Jira/Confluence

• Design and develop solutions based on Apache Kafka, Kafka Streams, and kSQL
• Develop microservices using Java/Spring Boot
• Develop and maintain Kafka Connect integrations and connectors
• Build GraphQL APIs and work with MongoDB
• Define and manage data schemas using Avro, Protobuf, and JSON Schema
• Automate processes using CI/CD and DevOps practices
• Implement monitoring and observability with Prometheus, Grafana, and OpenTelemetry
• Optimize and maintain the Kafka environment
• Collaborate with Data Engineering, DevOps, and Analytics teams in an Agile environment
