Data Engineer

• Strong hands-on experience with Python, SQL, and production GCP data tools.
• Solid background in Apache Kafka (or similar streaming technology) for event-driven ingestion.
• Experience with dbt and Medallion architecture patterns.
• Quality-first mindset including observability, data contracts, and SLO monitoring.
• Comfort working in a high-scale, structured/regulated environment.

• Pipeline Engineering: Building and optimizing batch and real-time streams on GCP (BigQuery, Cloud Composer/Airflow, Cloud Run) and Kafka.
• Modern Transformation & Architecture: Implementing dbt models and Medallion patterns for trusted self-service analytics.
• Data Quality & Governance: Setting up data contracts, lineage tracking, and observability tools in a high-scale environment.
• AI & ML Readiness: Supporting feature engineering, pipeline reproducibility, and freshness guarantees for Data Science teams.
