Senior Java Developer (Kotlin + AWS)

• Minimum 8 years of backend development experience, preferably in the Java/Kotlin ecosystem
• Very good knowledge of Kotlin/JVM, Spring Boot, Hibernate/JPA
• Practical experience with AWS in production environments
• Experience decomposing monoliths and designing modular architectures following Domain-Driven Design (DDD)
• Very good knowledge of integration patterns, API design, testing, and CI/CD processes
• Experience designing scalable and distributed systems
• Knowledge of performance, reliability, and observability aspects in AWS environments
• Practical experience using AI tools supporting software development
• Very good English language skills (minimum B2+/C1)

Nice to have:

• Experience in financial, insurance, or risk management domains
• Experience with event-driven architecture and domain events
• Experience building highly scalable distributed systems
• Experience optimizing performance and ensuring high system reliability
• Experience working on enterprise-class products

• Providing services within a financial/insurance project related to risk and insurance product valuation platform
• Designing and implementing new functionalities for the platform
• Developing and modernizing backend based on Kotlin/JVM, Spring Boot, and Hibernate/JPA
• Designing scalable and distributed services ensuring performance, reliability, and observability
• Developing integrations and APIs, working with AWS-based solutions
• Participating in refactoring and gradual transition to modular architecture
• Working with CI/CD, testing, and engineering best practices
• Working 100% remotely
