Platform Engineer (Analytics, Data & AI)

ISS Tech Team creates smarter workplace experiences through technology, building digital solutions including sensors, IoT devices, data, analytics, and AI-driven capabilities that support ISS A/S operations in Cleaning, Workplace, Food, and Technical Services. With tech hubs in Copenhagen, Warsaw, and Porto, the Global Technology Solutions team collaborates across more than 30 countries to develop impactful digital solutions.

• Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role focused on cloud infrastructure.
• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, including architecture fundamentals such as Subscriptions, Resource Groups, networking, compute, load balancers, security, monitoring.
• Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or GitOps tooling.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
• English proficiency, both written and spoken.

Nice to have:

• Experience with monitoring, logging, and alerting tools (Azure Monitor, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
• Strong scripting/automation skills in Python, Bash, including API integrations and Azure SDK usage.
• Understanding of cost, security, and performance optimization in Azure environments.
• Interest in Azure AI landscape and delivering AI platforms.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum teams.

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable and secure infrastructure in Microsoft Azure, including Azure Resource Manager (ARM), Virtual Networks, Subnets, Private Endpoints, Private DNS, Azure Storage, Azure Key Vault, Azure Event Grid, Azure Monitor, Diagnostic Settings, and Azure Container Instances.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, including self-hosted agents, artifact management, and automated pipeline execution.
• Monitor and improve system health and performance using Prometheus, Grafana, Check_MK, Azure Monitor, and logging frameworks.
• Define, implement, and maintain security controls aligned with ISS standards (RBAC, managed identities, service principals, NSGs, secure service-to-service communication).
• Optimize infrastructure costs and performance using Azure Cost Management and related tooling.
• Develop automation and integrations using Python scripts, REST APIs, and Azure SDKs.
• Support AI infrastructure including Azure AI Foundry, Azure AI services, Azure Machine Learning, Azure API management.
• Troubleshoot complex issues across infrastructure, networking, CI/CD, and application layers.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum processes and contribute to ongoing improvements within the team.
