Platform Engineer

At ISS Tech Team, the Global Technology Solutions team develops digital solutions including sensors, IoT devices, data, analytics, and AI-driven capabilities supporting ISS A/S operations such as Cleaning, Workplace, Food, and Technical Services. The team operates tech hubs in Copenhagen, Warsaw, and Porto, collaborating across more than 30 countries to build impactful digital solutions.

• Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role focused on cloud infrastructure.
• Hands-on experience with Linux administration and scripting languages such as Bash and Python.
• Solid knowledge of Microsoft Azure platform services and architecture.
• Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or Ansible.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps or GitHub.
• English proficiency, both written and spoken.

Nice to have:

• Experience with monitoring, logging, and alerting tools like Azure Monitor, Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK stack.
• Basic knowledge of containerization tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Understanding of cost, security, and performance optimization in Azure and Linux systems.
• Experience working in an Agile or Scrum environment.

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable infrastructure in Azure and on-premise environments focused on Linux.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
• Support ISS's largest application connected to multiple internal systems.
• Monitor system health and performance using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and Check_MK.
• Define and implement security and infrastructure standards.
• Optimize infrastructure costs using cost management tools.
• Manage and improve Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and Ansible.
• Troubleshoot issues across infrastructure, network, and application layers.
• Stay updated on emerging DevOps tools and contribute to process improvements.
