Bazel Engineer (Senior)

The project focuses on delivering consultancy, migration, and developing open source related to Bazel. The team works on short and medium-length projects and may evolve into longer-lived teams. Deliverables include executing Bazel migrations, promoting Bazel ecosystems through conferences, meetups, blogs, and social media, developing open-source and internal solutions, supporting pre-sales activities, and providing training and mentoring.

• Experience developing solutions around build tools and maintaining robust CI/CD pipelines
• Expertise in Bazel or other build tools
• Interest in build systems, SDLC, and developer tooling
• Proficiency in at least one software ecosystem such as JVM, Rust, Go, TypeScript, or C++
• Excellent communication skills and pragmatic problem-solving
• Proactive approach to blocker resolution and collaborative technical alignment
• High autonomy in task execution and output delivery
• Public speaking, technical blogging, community engagement, mentoring, and knowledge-sharing are advantageous

• Execute smooth Bazel migrations
• Promote Bazel ecosystems and engineering expertise through technical conferences, meetups, blog posts, and social media channels (optional)
• Develop high-quality open-source and internal solutions tailored to Bazel
• Support pre-sales activities and strategic technical consultancy
• Develop and deliver training sessions and mentor engineering teams (optional)
