Project Manager

Scalo is engaged in delivering software projects and supporting partners in business development, specializing in technology consulting, software development, embedded systems, cloud solutions, data management, and dedicated project teams.

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar position.
• 2–4 years experience in technology governance, risk/compliance in financial institutions, and AI/model governance at conceptual and control levels.
• Practical understanding of AI/GenAI technologies, including applications, limitations, and key risks.
• Knowledge of regulated environments.
• Experience collaborating with multiple units, especially IT, Risk, and Compliance.
• Very good command of English, both spoken and written (level C1).

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of AI and financial sector regulations and standards, particularly AI Act, DORA, and model risk management.
• Experience preparing management materials.
• Experience working in large, international organizations or group structures.

• Co-develop and enhance a comprehensive AI Governance model including principles, roles, responsibilities, decision-making processes, and oversight mechanisms for AI/GenAI usage in a bank.
• Coordinate AI/GenAI use case management processes.
• Collaborate in identifying and assessing AI/GenAI-related risks, regulatory compliance, and designing and monitoring control mechanisms.
• Organize and conduct operational governance activities: prepare materials, monitor implementation of arrangements, statuses, and actions, and ensure proper information flow among involved units.
• Prepare reports, analyses, and presentations for management and bank committees regarding initiative status, risks, use cases, and key decisions.
• Coordinate preparation of materials for internal and external audits and regulators, ensuring documentation completeness and consistency.
• Work remotely with occasional visits to the Warsaw office.
