Senior Credit Analyst

• Significant experience in a Credit Analyst, Credit Underwriter, or similar senior role.
• Proven background in credit underwriting, ideally within business lending.
• Strong ability to assess risk without over-reliance on automated models.
• Experience making funding decisions for both secured and unsecured loans.
• Ability to interpret financial statements; property-backed underwriting knowledge is a plus.
• Experience in alternative lending or non-bank financial services is desirable.
• Problem-solving skills to structure complex loans outside traditional models.
• Leadership abilities with experience mentoring or guiding junior analysts.

• Assess SME loan applications and make independent credit decisions with a balanced risk approach.
• Conduct in-depth analysis of financial statements, credit reports, and risk indicators to determine creditworthiness.
• Structure lending solutions for both secured and unsecured loans, including complex deals outside traditional models.
• Review loan offers and provide insights on portfolio trends and risk exposure.
• Support process improvements and help shape best practices within the underwriting team.
• Stay informed on economic trends impacting credit risk assessment.
• Assist with hardship assessments and provide tailored solutions for clients.
• Mentor junior team members, sharing expertise and fostering development.
