QA Backend Engineer

• At least 5 years of experience as a Software Tester.
• Experience planning, analyzing, executing and evaluating tests, including backend testing of microservice-based architectures.
• Strong knowledge of test design techniques, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Understanding of asynchronous and event-driven systems, mobile and web applications, and the SDLC.
• Experience with AWS SNS/SQS, Jira or YouTrack, TestRail or Xray, Postman or Swagger, and SQL databases.
• Ability to analyze logs, trace requests and validate data flows in Agile environments.
• Strong communication, collaboration and proactive teamwork skills.

Nice to have:

• Test automation for mobile and web applications.
• REST API, HTTP protocols and API contract validation.
• Card payments or card management domain experience.
• ISTQB Foundation or Advanced Test Analyst certification.

• Plan and execute integration, system, usability, E2E and UAT testing.
• Validate backend processes, data flows and integrations across microservices.
• Analyze test results, logs and risks affecting product quality and stability.
• Trace requests, support defect resolution and cooperate with developers and multiple development teams.
• Contribute to testing strategy, planning, execution and evaluation throughout the SDLC.
