QA Automation Engineer

We are an agile software agency developing software across a wide set of industries, focusing on software development Just in Time. They create in-house projects, raise VC funding, and develop successful client solutions.

• 5 years of experience in a similar role.
• Experience in the insurance industry with knowledge of policies, applications, routing, and commissions.
• Practical experience in E2E test automation and building/developing test frameworks for web and backend solutions.
• Knowledge of microservice architecture and APIs.
• Understanding of REST, SOAP/XML integrations, and event-driven communication using Kafka or RabbitMQ.

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of XML.
• Experience with Kafka.
• Experience with RabbitMQ.
• Familiarity with React.
• Familiarity with TypeScript.
• Familiarity with Java.

• Design, create, and maintain automated E2E tests for a new multi-tenant insurance platform.
• Verify data flow between the React/TypeScript frontend, Java/Spring Boot backend, and external integrations.
• Implement QA best practices in a greenfield project.
• Collaborate with architects, developers, and product team to analyze domain requirements.
• Develop from scratch an API-first platform handling the full insurance policy lifecycle including applications, routing, contracts, documents, statuses, commissions, and reporting.
• Work in a 9-person team on a project lasting at least 6 months with potential long-term collaboration.
