Senior QA Engineer

We are a Polish software company founded in 2010 by engineers for engineers. j-labs specializes in providing complete development teams, individual engineers, and project outsourcing in agile models focusing on software development. The company has expertise in Java, JavaScript, .NET, Kotlin, Python, QA, and DevOps, with centers of excellence for Microservice & DLT consulting, training, and software development. j-labs operates in three locations: Cracow, Warsaw, and Munich, has over 75 clients across fintech, telco, e-commerce, travel & airlines, automotive, logistics, and banking, and employs 500+ engineers with an average experience of 11 years.

• Minimum 3 years of experience in IT systems testing
• Experience testing payment, banking, or transactional systems
• Strong analytical skills and experience with complex business processes
• Practical knowledge of SQL, SOAP UI, and API testing
• Familiarity with XML, Jira, and Confluence
• Experience with manual and automated testing and maintaining automation tests
• Ability to collaborate with technical and business teams internationally
• Proficient in English and Polish (minimum B2 level)
• Independent problem analysis and root cause identification
• Openness to automation, process improvement, and AI adoption

Nice to have:

• Experience in banking or financial sectors, including SEPA Payment projects
• Leadership skills or experience coordinating a team
• Knowledge of Selenium and Java for test automation

• Perform manual and automated tests, create, run, and analyze test scripts
• Test APIs and system integrations using SQL, SOAP UI, and XML
• Analyze project documentation and business requirements
• Create and maintain test documentation
• Log, analyze, and track defects, identify risks, and escalate issues
• Collaborate with Production Support, Test Management, Solution Delivery, and Business Analysts
• Support quality assurance in an international environment
