Senior Software Engineer

BlackLine is a technology-based company founded in 2001 that provides cloud software automating and controlling the entire financial close process. The role is for their AI-powered Invoice-to-Cash (I2C) solution, a market-leading platform that uses intelligent automation to help companies with accounts receivable processes.

• Expertise in AI-driven development tools such as Cursor and Claude.
• Strong experience in designing, building, and deploying production-grade, scalable, and secure SaaS applications.
• Proficiency in C# with a deep understanding of software architecture, data structures, and algorithms.
• Proven track record of delivering complex projects from ambiguous requirements to successful launch.
• Experience with modern software development practices including CI/CD, automated testing, and infrastructure-as-code.
• Strong observability mindset including logging, metrics, and distributed tracing across microservices.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, comfortable working across time zones.

• Experience building software in regulated industries such as finance or accounting.
• Knowledge of cloud-native technologies and building applications on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Familiarity with principles of Responsible AI and applying them in software development.

• Take full ownership of complex features from concept to production, writing clean, performant, and well-tested code for a mission-critical enterprise application.
• Utilize agentic development tools like Cursor and Claude to accelerate design, coding, and testing lifecycle.
• Design and implement scalable, robust, and maintainable solutions for the core SaaS platform.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to refine requirements and contribute to technical roadmap.
• Ensure systems are built focusing on performance, reliability, and security for a global user base.
• Act as a technical leader and mentor by performing code reviews, knowledge sharing, and establishing best practices.

Candidates who live within a reasonable commute to the Krakow office will work onsite at least 3 days a week.
