Typescript Developer

HTD Health is a health technology consultancy partnering with innovative healthcare organizations globally, including startups and Fortune 500 companies. The company supports clients across the entire digital product lifecycle, including technology strategy, product discovery, UX/UI design, and web and mobile development. It operates globally with headquarters in New York, NY and Lodz, Poland, and an office in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

• 6+ years of professional software development experience
• Strong hands-on experience with TypeScript and JavaScript in backend environments
• Working experience with React or Angular
• Experience building or working with SDKs
• Advanced English proficiency for team communication, documentation, and meetings
• Solid understanding of backend architecture, APIs, and data handling
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently

Nice to have:

• Fullstack experience
• Experience with healthcare interoperability standards — HL7 (XML) and/or FHIR (JSON)
• Familiarity with health-tech data exchange, integration engines, or related standards
• Any prior exposure to interoperability work

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs using TypeScript
• Build and consume SDKs to integrate with internal and external systems
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into technical solutions
• Ensure code quality through testing, code reviews, and best practices
• Work with structured healthcare data formats (HL7 XML, FHIR JSON) when applicable
• Contribute to architectural decisions and technical documentation
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues across the backend stack
