Product Owner/ System Analyst

Tpay is a Polish fintech company based in Poznań, operating as a payment operator for e-commerce and online services, recognized for its payment gateway, with clients including RTV Euro AGD, Media Expert, Jakdojade.pl, Koleo, PKP Informatyka, X-KOM, PZU, Pekao SA, and Biedronka.

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Product Owner, System Analyst, or a similar role combining system analysis and product development.
• Experience analyzing complex processes and systems, especially related to registration, onboarding, finance, payments, or client verification.
• Practical experience in integration projects, understanding system communications, data flows, and error handling.
• Ability to model processes, business rules, system dependencies, and edge cases.
• Ability to define problems, hypotheses, requirements, acceptance criteria, and measurable success criteria.
• Skill in creating clear functional and system documentation tailored to technology teams and business stakeholders.
• Proficiency navigating technical documentation of systems, applications, and integrations.
• Experience collaborating with development and QA teams.
• Ability to prioritize backlog considering business value, client needs, risk, cost, and team capabilities.
• Strong communication skills to navigate between business, technology, and stakeholders.
• Knowledge of good software development lifecycle practices and experience working in an agile environment.
• Self-motivated, responsible, and well-organized individual.
• English language proficiency at a minimum B2 level.

• Knowledge of fintech, regtech, banking, or payment industries.
• Familiarity with KYC, KYB, AML, fraud, or identity verification processes.

• Analyze the registration and verification funnel, identify barriers, errors, and drop-off points, and initiate actions to improve effectiveness.
• Model processes, data flows, system integrations, and dependencies, and analyze their impact on clients, business, security, and regulatory compliance.
• Define and monitor process KPIs and analyze results post-implementation.
• Own the development of the entire registration and verification process from registration initiation to successful user activation.
• Define requirements, acceptance criteria, and edge cases for technology teams.
• Collaborate with QA to prepare business scenarios, test cases, test data, acceptance criteria, and participate in defect analysis and business testing.
• Prioritize backlog based on customer and business value, data, risk, cost, and team capabilities.
• Influence vision, development direction, and roadmap considering customer needs, business goals, regulatory requirements, security, and technological possibilities.
• Collaborate with development teams, QA, and other stakeholders.
• Prepare clear functional and system documentation and maintain information flow between business and technology.
