Change and Configuration Manager

The client is a global technology leader delivering innovative and sustainable mobility solutions for the automotive market. The company focuses on advanced eMobility solutions, including electric and hybrid vehicles, and has a newly established Technical Center in Poland contributing to the global transformation in this area. The hiring company, Jit Team, employs over 770 IT experts and is a Polish firm engaged in IT projects and educational and charitable activities.

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering focused on electric drive systems, power electronics, and/or motors
• Master’s degree in related technical field preferred
• Experience in Systems engineering and managing engineering products
• Experience with EIA-649C, A-SPICE, and relevant processes to ensure industry compliance
• Understanding of hybrid and electric vehicle systems and system tradeoffs
• Understanding of power electronics, electric motors, and controls is an asset
• Knowledge of Polarion, JIRA or similar tools
• Understanding of engineering interaction with other organizational functions
• Engineering management skills including effort estimation and work tracking
• Strong writing and verbal communication skills
• Coaching skills and ability to foster a team approach
• Global experience working with multiple regions and cultures
• Willingness for occasional domestic and international travel

• Develop, maintain, and ensure adherence to configuration management plans
• Execute configuration management processes according to the process framework
• Identify configuration items, create product structure, and define system release configurations
• Interface with customer and internal functions to establish configuration item reviews and baselines
• Assist project leads in preparing initial project infrastructure
• Maintain configuration management infrastructure and documentation
• Track, evaluate, and report configuration management status
• Execute product configuration management from requirement analysis through product delivery
• Implement internal and external change management activities per process framework
• Responsible for all project change management activities
• Decide on change requests and track their resolution
• Communicate change request status and close out requests
• Participate in internal and external international project teams
• Support production during integration phase
• Review process effectiveness and efficiency
• Perform process audits and drive continual process improvement
