CSA Quantity Surveyor – Data Centre Project | Gävle, Sweden

• A degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics, Commercial Management or a related discipline
• Experience as a Quantity Surveyor on large-scale construction or engineering projects
• Practical experience managing Civil, Structural, or Architectural packages
• Previous exposure to Data Centre, industrial, pharmaceutical, or mission-critical projects
• Knowledge of Bills of Quantities (BOQs), remeasurement, valuations, and cost reporting
• Experience managing subcontractor procurement and commercial accounts
• Understanding of variations, dayworks, claims, and change-control processes
• Strong commercial awareness and ability to identify project risks
• Ability to interpret construction drawings, specifications, and subcontract documentation
• Excellent analytical, negotiation, and record-keeping skills
• Ability to manage priorities independently in a fast-paced project environment
• Strong communication and stakeholder-management abilities
• Good command of English
• Legal eligibility to work in Sweden
• Willingness to work on-site in Gävle

Nice to have:

• Previous commercial experience with concrete, structural steel, architectural finishes, façades, roofing, or external works
• Experience working on a hyperscale Data Centre project

• Preparing and maintaining Bills of Quantities, budgets, and cost reports
• Measuring and valuing Civil, Structural, and Architectural works
• Supporting the procurement and commercial evaluation of CSA subcontractors
• Preparing tender documentation and analyzing subcontractor quotations
• Managing subcontractor accounts, interim valuations, and final accounts
• Preparing monthly applications for payment
• Assessing variations, remeasurements, dayworks, and change orders
• Identifying and reporting commercial and contractual risks
• Maintaining accurate records to support variations and commercial claims
• Monitoring labour, material, and subcontractor costs
• Tracking committed costs, forecasts, and package profitability
• Reviewing subcontractor progress against agreed scope and programme
• Supporting payment recommendations and retention management
• Working closely with the Commercial Manager, Project Manager, and CSA delivery team
• Participating in commercial meetings with clients and subcontractors
• Supporting the negotiation and settlement of variations and final accounts
• Ensuring compliance with contractual obligations and company commercial procedures
• Providing regular and accurate commercial reports

Legal eligibility to work in Sweden and willingness to work on-site in Gävle are required.
