Medicalgorithmics S.A. is involved in an innovative research and development project "Kardiobeat.CT", the first European diagnostic tool using artificial intelligence for automated detection and analysis of atherosclerotic plaques in coronary arteries. The project is co-financed by European Funds for the Modern Economy (FENG) under the SMART Pathway and aims to revolutionize coronary disease diagnostics based on cardiac computed tomography imaging. The company collaborates with leading cardiology centers worldwide, supporting access to essential data and high-class medical staff, advancing innovation in cardiological diagnostics.

• Specialist title in radiology and diagnostic imaging.
• Experience reporting cardiac CT studies and analyzing coronary vessels.
• Knowledge of atherosclerotic plaque and coronary vessel stenosis diagnostics.
• Ability to work with DICOM images and CT study reporting standards.

Nice to have:

• Experience in research and development or clinical projects.
• Knowledge of medical algorithm validation standards.
• Experience working with data for AI/ML training.
• Familiarity with IVUS (intravascular ultrasound) studies.
• Ability to assess coronary vessel hemodynamics.
• Scientific publications in cardiac imaging diagnostics.

• Assess cardiac CT images of patients' hearts.
• Perform clinical verification of algorithms that detect and classify atherosclerotic plaques on cardiac CT images.
• Analyze standard measurement methods used in training AI/ML algorithms.
• Collaborate with a team of AI engineers on algorithm validation.
• Verify accuracy of algorithms determining plaque distance from coronary artery ostium.
• Annotate and classify medical CT data in DICOM format.
• Participate in validation and usability testing of the integrated diagnostic tool.
• Compare algorithm outputs with expert verification (ground truth).
• Evaluate the effectiveness and accuracy of the diagnostic tool.
