Senior PHP Developer (PrestaShop + WooCommerce) | Project-Based Payment Integration

Polcode is a Poland-based software house founded in 2006, building web, mobile, and eCommerce products for startups and established companies internationally. The company employs between 51 and 200 people and operates in the IT product and service industry.

• Senior-level PHP skills with strong commercial e-commerce experience
• Hands-on experience building PrestaShop modules
• Experience developing WordPress/WooCommerce plugins
• Strong experience with REST API and payment gateway integrations
• Good understanding of payment flows, webhooks, error handling, and security
• Comfortable working as the sole developer with high independence
• Ability to make technical decisions without day-to-day guidance
• Strong ownership and problem-solving skills
• Experience with unit testing of key integration logic
• Hands-on experience using AI tools to support software development
• Full-time availability for the project duration
• Availability to start in the second half of August

Nice to have:

• Experience with Polish payment methods, especially BLIK and pay-by-link
• A payment module or plugin in your portfolio
• JavaScript experience related to checkout flows or WooCommerce Blocks
• Experience preparing modules/plugins for distribution and platform validation
• Good command of English

• Independently build payment modules for PrestaShop and WooCommerce
• Integrate e-commerce platforms with a payment gateway via REST API
• Implement payment flows, transaction statuses, refunds, and webhooks
• Build configuration options for store administrators
• Make pragmatic architecture and implementation decisions independently
• Take responsibility for security, code quality, and platform compatibility
• Work closely with the Product Delivery Manager and QA Engineer
• Use AI tools as part of the development workflow
• Deliver production-ready modules within the agreed project scope

100% remote work is allowed only within Poland. Project-based cooperation with start in second half of August is a must-have.
