Senior Amazon Connect Engineer

This role is for a Senior Amazon Connect Engineer / Developer working on a project for a client in the banking sector in Canada. The focus is on designing, developing, and supporting Contact Center solutions primarily using Amazon Connect and related technologies.

• Minimum 5 years of commercial experience in IT projects.
• At least 2 years of hands-on experience with Amazon Connect.
• Practical programming experience in Python.
• Experience working with Amazon Connect, Cyara, and Genesys.
• Familiarity with Node.js is an advantage.
• Strong understanding of Contact Center concepts and architectures.
• English language proficiency at minimum B2 level.
• Developer/engineer profile with proven independence and practical experience in Contact Center implementations and development.

• Design, implement and maintain Amazon Connect contact flows and integrations.
• Develop and deploy serverless and backend components using Python and Node.js where applicable.
• Integrate Amazon Connect with other platforms such as Cyara and Genesys.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Participate in testing, tuning, and performance optimization of contact center services.
• Provide technical documentation, runbooks, and knowledge transfer to operations teams.
• Support deployment pipelines and contribute to automation for development, testing, and release processes.
