Microsoft's Cloud Operations & Innovation (CO+I) team maintains the critical infrastructure for Microsoft's datacenters worldwide that support core online services including Bing, Office 365, Xbox, OneDrive, and the Microsoft Azure platform. The team manages over 200 datacenters in 32 countries, serving more than 1 billion customers and 20 million businesses in over 90 countries.

Wymagania

  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
  • SEP-certified electrician's license (type “E”) active certification is required for equipment operation.
  • Ability to work shifts including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to meet Microsoft customer and government security screening requirements including passing the Microsoft Cloud background check.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent with demonstrated technical services experience in high-availability or critical infrastructure environments, OR
  • Associate's Degree or technical trade certification, OR
  • Equivalent experience.

Obowiązki

  • Perform assigned tasks such as building rounds, recording observations, and taking measurements under varying supervision.
  • Monitor and inspect critical environment-related facility equipment including controls and HVAC systems.
  • Learn to operate systems and equipment safely and professionally.
  • Utilize computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) to track equipment and complete work orders.
  • Assist in emergency monitoring and response following emergency operating procedures.
  • Perform maintenance tasks including planned, predictive, and corrective maintenance as assigned.
  • Document maintenance and troubleshooting tasks and escalate issues as appropriate.
  • Escort third-party contractors, vendors, and service providers on site according to procedures.
  • Follow safety and security requirements including job hazard assessments and environmental health and safety protocols.
