Senior QA Software Engineer, Networking

• Practical or BA in Computer Science, Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
• At least 5+ years of hands-on experience in QA and Networking.
• Proven networking knowledge and hands-on experience with switching and routing.
• Confident understanding of routing protocols: BGP, EVPN, VXLAN, OSPF; multicast features: PIM, IGMP; QoS features: PFC, ECN, RoCE.
• Automation and scripting skills with experience in Python and Linux Bash.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently with responsible execution.
• Clear verbal and written communication skills with proficient written and spoken English.

Nice to have:

• CCNP/CCIE certification or similar.
• Experience with Python automation and source control tools like Git/SVN.
• Good Linux and Linux kernel knowledge; LPIC-2 Linux administration level.
• Experience with compute and virtualization environments: Linux KVM, VMware, ESXi.

• Review the architecture design and requirements for new product features.
• Design, develop, and execute tests for new features as part of software GA and update releases.
• Report bugs during execution, assist with reproduction and debugging, verify bug fixes, and raise issues if not fixed.
• Execute system tests including regression, performance, functional, and security testing for Ethernet protocols.
• Write automation tests and framework APIs using the Python language.
