Senior Software Engineer - Local Server Systems

Our solutions run in the cloud and connect to devices such as tags and gateways. We develop Local Server software that runs on-site to ensure continuous operation even when cloud connectivity drops, particularly for safety-critical solutions. This software must operate independently from the cloud and requires careful upfront deployment due to lack of remote access.

• Senior-level experience, ideally full-stack, with hands-on deployment and service management in remote containers.
• Proficiency in Python or Java, with a preference for Python.
• Working knowledge of both containers and VMware virtual machines.
• Strong documentation skills.
• Ability to operate with limited visibility and control over deployment environments.

Nice to have:

• Experience with hardware exposure.
• Background in embedded or on-prem deployment environments.
• Basic SRE and networking experience.
• Familiarity with AWS.

• Build the Local Server as a bridge between cloud and on-site devices to replicate cloud logic locally.
• Package software as containers (standard) or VMs (specific customer requirement).
• Implement strong self-reporting with logs and health metrics to enable remote diagnosis.
• Write clear and detailed documentation for hospital IT installation and operation.
• Coordinate with cloud-side engineers to maintain feature parity between online and offline functionalities.
