The Transaction Monitoring & Screening team is part of Visa Cross-Border Solutions Financial Crime Operations and is responsible for detecting, investigating, and escalating potential financial crime risk across customer activity, payments and transactions.
Wymagania
- Strong analytical mindset and curiosity about customer behaviour, transaction patterns and financial crime risk.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify anomalies within data, names, entities, geographies and payment context.
- Clear written communication and ability to produce accurate case notes and investigation narratives.
- Ability to follow procedures consistently while applying sound judgement and escalating promptly.
- Comfortable working with data, case management systems and multiple information sources.
- Ability to manage daily workload, meet deadlines and maintain quality in a regulated operational environment.
- Strong teamwork, learning agility and willingness to build financial crime expertise.
Nice to have:
- Previous experience in AML, sanctions, compliance, fraud, investigations, customer due diligence, payment operations or a similar environment.
- Basic understanding of financial crime risks, sanctions, PEPs, watchlists, adverse media, fraud indicators or payment services risk.
- Experience within fintech, banking, payments, e-money or broader financial services.
- Relevant degree, professional qualification or equivalent practical experience.
Obowiązki
- Review alerts generated through transaction monitoring, sanctions screening and other financial crime controls.
- Analyse customer behaviour, payment activity, transaction patterns, corridors and payment context to identify unusual activity.
- Assess potential sanctions, watchlist or AML matches using available customer and transaction information.
- Gather and assess information from internal systems and relevant external sources to support investigation outcomes.
- Prepare clear, concise and audit-ready case documentation, including evidence reviewed, rationale applied and final decision.
- Escalate high-risk, complex, unusual or potentially suspicious activity in line with established procedures.
- Support Requests for Information (RFIs) and evidence gathering where additional customer or payment context is required.
- Maintain accurate case records and ensure investigation outcomes are documented to procedural and governance standards.
- Work to agreed quality, productivity and service level expectations, including time-sensitive real-time alert handling where applicable.
- Support queue hygiene, prioritisation and handover activity where required.
- Participate in team huddles, training, quality calibration, knowledge sharing and continuous improvement activity.
- Stay current on financial crime typologies, sanctions developments and risk indicators relevant to payments, fintech and cross-border flows.
