Senior C++ Developer

• 5+ years of experience with C++ programming, particularly for developing and maintaining COM Add-Ins
• Experience with JavaScript for client-side scripting and enhancing user interactivity within Excel
• Understanding of Microsoft Office APIs and architecture for COM Add-In development, especially in Excel
• Experience handling large datasets, formula-heavy spreadsheets, and real-time data processing
• Proven ability to optimize performance, improve scalability, and enhance responsiveness
• Experience with debugging and profiling tools, performance tuning, especially analyzing Excel-related performance
• Knowledge of asynchronous programming and multi-threading techniques
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to explain complex technical concepts
• Experience working effectively in distributed teams using collaboration tools
• Proficiency in English at B2+ level

Nice to have:

• Background in financial services, fintech, or similar domains involving large-scale data and formula-heavy computations
• Familiarity with advanced Excel functionalities, such as VBA macros
• Knowledge of integrating real-time data streams from APIs or external trading systems into Microsoft Office Add-Ins
• Proficiency with version control systems such as Git and experience implementing CI/CD pipelines
• Familiarity with Web technologies used in Office Add-Ins, including Office.js

• Develop, maintain, and optimize Microsoft Office COM Add-Ins on Windows using C++ and JavaScript (Node.js)
• Analyze performance bottlenecks in handling large datasets, such as 50k+ formulas or real-time data streams, and implement optimization strategies
• Apply best practices and innovative solutions to improve scalability, speed, and usability of the add-in
• Collaborate with the team to design and implement new features for the COM Add-In application
• Ensure thorough testing and quality assurance
• Conduct detailed performance analysis, including profiling and debugging, to enhance stability and speed
• Work on real-time data integration and ensure efficient handling of high-frequency updates
• Communicate technical solutions effectively to internal stakeholders and external clients
• Engage in technical discussions, gather requirements, and ensure alignment between development and business goals
• Participate actively in a distributed team environment using remote collaboration tools
