Senior Node.js Developer

j-labs is a company operating for 15 years with over 500 employees. The company emphasizes stability and long-term cooperation, with about 25% of the staff working there for over 5 years. The project is a telemetry and analytics platform enabling teams to instrument applications, collect behavioral and performance data, and transform it into useful insights regarding product adoption, user paths, and user satisfaction. The project aims to aggregate telemetry data from applications and present it to internal clients.

• Minimum 5 years of commercial backend development experience.
• Very good knowledge of Node.js.
• Experience designing and building efficient REST API and Web API.
• Experience designing databases and writing SQL queries.
• Practical knowledge of PostgreSQL.
• Experience with the full software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• Practical knowledge of Git.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to quality.
• Willingness to work with internal clients and collect business requirements.
• Experience in requirements analysis and proposing technical improvements.
• Ability to write clear technical documentation.

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of Go/Python.
• Experience with React or Angular 2+.
• Experience with HTML5/CSS.
• Experience in supporting production environments and Service Management.
• Experience with AI, Generative AI, or Agentic AI and telemetry or analytics platforms.
• Desire for continuous development and experimenting with new technologies.

• Influence architecture, technical standards, and product development from the project's inception.
• Build efficient REST API and Web API services.
• Engage in the full software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• Collaborate with internal clients to gather business requirements.
• Analyze requirements and propose technical improvements.
• Create clear technical documentation.
• Work on prototypes and validate new solutions.
