Mid DevOps Engineer (she/he/they)

Green Hive Technology is a software house within the Żabka Group, developing digital solutions that drive the growth of one of the largest convenience ecosystems in Poland. Projects include the development of the Żappka app, data science initiatives supporting franchisees, generative artificial intelligence (genAI) solutions, and other innovative digital products.

• Minimum 3 years of experience in DevOps/SRE.
• Proficient with Google Cloud Platform and public cloud production environments.
• Experience using Terraform for Infrastructure as Code.
• Knowledge of Kubernetes and GitOps, especially tools like Flux, Kustomize, or ArgoCD.
• Experience creating reusable CI/CD pipelines.
• Ability to build observability solutions using Prometheus, Grafana, or similar tools.
• Understanding of secret management (e.g., Vault) and CI/CD security.
• Interest in SRE practices such as SLI/SLO, error budgets, and postmortems.

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of GitLab CI.
• Basic knowledge of Go.
• Experience creating tools and automation for infrastructure processes.
• Familiarity with service mesh and API Gateway solutions.
• Experience with tools and platforms used in data engineering.

• Develop and maintain infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform using Infrastructure as Code with Terraform.
• Manage Kubernetes clusters in a GitOps model using tools such as Flux and Kustomize.
• Support progressive deployments (canary releases) and develop internal CI/CD tools, mainly using Go.
• Maintain and develop GitLab CI pipelines including Terraform, Kubernetes/GitOps, container image building, and scanning.
• Develop and improve platform layer solutions including service mesh and API gateway for inter-service communication.
• Manage access and secrets using HashiCorp Vault following the principle of least privilege.
• Develop observability solutions based on Prometheus and Grafana and optimize alerting quality.
• Support Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices including SLI/SLO, error budgets, and postmortem analysis.
• Ensure pipeline and container image security through DevSecOps best practices.
• Collaborate with product and data engineering teams to design and implement business and technology solutions.
