Administrator Systemów / Platform SAS (k/m)

Astek is a global IT and engineering consulting group founded in 1988 in France, with over 10,000 employees working on diverse technology and engineering projects across many industrial sectors. In 2025, Astek's revenue reached 730 million euros. The company is searching for a System/Platform Administrator for a client in the banking sector to manage and develop analytical environments and data platforms based on SAS 9.4.

• 3–5 years of experience in system/application platform administration
• Experience with SAS 9.4 or a similar enterprise platform
• Strong knowledge of Linux, Unix/AIX, and Windows Server
• Experience with LDAP and Active Directory, understanding security aspects
• Skills in administrative scripting: Bash, PowerShell, Python, CMD, and Git
• Ability to analyze logs and troubleshoot production environments
• High degree of independence, ownership, and focus on automation

Nice to have:

• Experience with cloud platforms: GCP, Azure
• Knowledge of monitoring and observability
• Experience with IT operations automation and CI/CD pipelines
• Familiarity with high availability (HA) environments

• Maintain and develop SAS 9.4 environments including Metadata Server, Object Spawner, Workspace Server, Web Application Server, SPDS on Linux, Unix/AIX, and Windows Server
• Ensure availability and stability of production platforms and optimize performance
• Handle production incidents, perform root cause analysis, and analyze logs
• Manage authentication and permissions using LDAP/Active Directory, and implement security patches
• Automate processes using Bash, PowerShell, Python, and CMD, reducing manual work
• Document processes and participate in migrations and deployments
• Collaborate with infrastructure, security, network, cloud teams, and external vendors

Position available for candidates working remotely from Poland.
