Engineering Manager

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Extensive software development experience with proficiency in languages such as Java, Python, or similar.
• Deep understanding of SaaS and cloud technologies, with experience in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
• Experience with microservices architecture, APIs, and web services.
• Industry knowledge in airline or travel sectors including distribution, pricing, sales, and servicing.
• Understanding of IATA's New Distribution Capability (NDC) and related standards.
• Proven leadership and engineering team management skills.
• Strong mentoring and coaching abilities.
• Experience in hiring, performance management, and career development.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken).

• Lead and manage a team of software engineers to deliver SaaS and cloud-based solutions.
• Drive technical direction, architecture, and implementation of projects aligned with IATA standards such as NDC, ARM, One-Order, and IFG.
• Collaborate with product management, design, and sales teams to define and execute product roadmaps.
• Mentor and develop team members fostering innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning.
• Oversee the software development lifecycle ensuring timely delivery and quality.
• Implement coding, testing, and deployment best practices for scalability and reliability.
• Identify and resolve technical challenges with innovative solutions.
• Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies.
• Manage project timelines, deliverables, and resource allocation.
• Promote a culture of high performance, accountability, and continuous improvement.
