IBM Storage Engineer

RITS Software House (within RITS Group) is a dynamic IT company operating for over 11 years, creating solutions in data, AI, and digital transformation for clients from various industries. The role is fully remote with real impact on key infrastructure.

• Practical knowledge of IBM Power environments.
• Experience administering IBM FlashSystem storage arrays.
• Proficient administration of AIX operating system.
• Knowledge of SAN/storage concepts: zoning, LUNs, replication.
• Ability to independently diagnose and resolve production environment issues.
• Communicative English skills (minimum B2).
• Readiness to work fully remotely.

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of PowerHA / HACMP.
• Experience with IBM Spectrum Protect / TSM.
• Knowledge of NIM (Network Installation Manager).
• Experience in high-security environments (e.g., banking, finance).
• IBM certifications (e.g., IBM Certified Systems Expert – Power Systems, FlashSystem).

• Administration and maintenance of IBM Power server environments (LPAR, VIOS, HMC).
• Management of IBM FlashSystem storage arrays including configuration, performance monitoring, data migration, and capacity expansion.
• Operating system administration of AIX: installations, patching, backup/recovery, and troubleshooting.
• Configuration and maintenance of high-availability environments (PowerHA).
• Working with SAN infrastructure: zoning, multipathing, LUN management.
• Monitoring and optimizing performance of storage and server environments.
• Collaboration with client infrastructure and security teams and documentation of work performed.
