Sitecore Team Leader (Relocation Opportunity to Athens, Greece)

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of software or web development experience with 2+ years in a technical or team leadership role.
• Strong hands-on expertise in Sitecore XP/XM including components, templates, layouts, workflows, and marketing features.
• Experience with older Sitecore implementations and migrations.
• Strong background in .NET, C#, ASP.NET MVC, ASP.NET Core, SQL Server, and REST APIs.
• Solid understanding of Sitecore Helix principles and modular development best practices.
• Knowledge of modern Sitecore architecture including headless CMS, Sitecore JSS, Next.js, and XM Cloud is an advantage.
• Ability to design scalable architectures and guide implementation.
• Experience with Azure DevOps, Git, CI/CD pipelines, automated deployments, and release governance.
• Understanding of web performance, accessibility, SEO, security, and analytics tagging.
• Ability to align technical solutions with business goals and communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Excellent analytical, decision-making, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Fluent English with desired C2 level certification (LanguageCert C2 LTE or C2 IESOL).
• Sitecore certification is a strong advantage.

• Define and oversee the Sitecore architecture ensuring scalability, maintainability, and security.
• Lead the technical roadmap including upgrade, migration, and modernization of Sitecore implementations.
• Guide the team through transitioning from legacy to modern Sitecore approaches including headless delivery and modular architecture.
• Manage project planning, sprints, resources, and delivery for Sitecore initiatives.
• Translate business objectives into robust Sitecore solutions.
• Own technical quality including code and architecture reviews, performance, security, and documentation.
• Collaborate with product owners, UX/UI designers, QA, DevOps, content teams, and stakeholders.
• Support integrations between Sitecore and enterprise systems like CRM, ERP, marketing automation, analytics, and payment.
• Stay informed on Sitecore updates, community best practices, CMS trends, accessibility, SEO, and emerging technologies.
• Build and mentor a high-performing Sitecore development team fostering collaboration and continuous improvement.
• Support incident resolution, technical troubleshooting, and platform stability improvements.

For working on the UK Home Office Secure English Language Tests (SELTs), candidates must undergo background checks including DBS, Right to Work, security (BPSS or CTC), financial, and employment reference checks.
