WordPress Full-Stack Developer (iGaming Affiliate)

• 3+ years experience in the iGaming affiliate industry.
• 3–5 years commercial web development experience.
• Strong experience in PHP, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and WordPress development.
• Experience developing custom WordPress themes and plugins.
• Experience with Linux-based hosting environments.
• Strong understanding of SQL and relational databases.
• Experience using Git and collaborative development workflows.
• Experience with website performance optimisation, debugging, and troubleshooting.
• Experience integrating third-party APIs and services.
• Understanding of DNS, SSL certificates, and Cloudflare.
• Experience deploying websites to production environments.
• Understanding of technical SEO principles including redirects, canonicals, and crawlability.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills; ability to work collaboratively across teams.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
• Good proficiency in spoken and written English (required for team communication).

• Develop, maintain, and enhance WordPress websites and internal applications.
• Manage WordPress core, theme, and plugin updates to ensure security, stability, and compatibility.
• Design and implement custom features using PHP, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and WordPress best practices.
• Develop and extend custom WordPress themes and plugins.
• Optimise website performance, page speed, caching, and Core Web Vitals.
• Plan and execute website migrations, deployments, and release activities.
• Design, build, optimise, and maintain MySQL databases.
• Configure and maintain web servers, hosting environments, and caching solutions.
• Troubleshoot technical issues across websites, databases, and hosting infrastructure.
• Write clean, scalable, maintainable code following coding standards.
• Take technical ownership of websites, features, migrations, maintenance, planning, implementation, deployment, post-launch QA, and documentation.
• Implement and maintain SEO-critical website elements, including redirects and canonicals.
• Troubleshoot and improve production websites across WordPress, PHP, JavaScript, MySQL, hosting environments, Cloudflare, DNS, caching, Git workflows, staging, and deployment processes.
• Conduct code reviews and provide feedback to junior developers.
• Create and maintain technical documentation for systems, processes, and projects.
• Collaborate with developers, designers, SEO specialists, and marketing teams to deliver new features.
• Contribute to technical planning, sprint estimation, and solution design.
• Ensure high-quality, timely delivery aligned with business requirements.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and recommend improvements.
