Senior Java Developer

The role is for a financial sector client focused on the Core Banking team, involving development, modernization, and support of mission-critical banking systems and integrations.

• Strong expertise in Java 11/17+ and Spring Boot / Spring Framework.
• Hands-on experience with microservices, REST API development, and REST / SOAP integrations.
• Proficiency with JPA / Hibernate and Maven or Gradle.
• Experience with Kafka and event-driven architecture.
• Solid knowledge of Oracle databases and advanced SQL.
• Background in high-availability (HA) distributed systems.
• Experience in mission-critical financial/banking production environments.
• Practical experience in Agile / Scrum methodologies.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with Core Banking platforms such as FLEXCUBE, Temenos, Finacle, Mambu, Thought Machine.
• Hands-on involvement in Core Banking system migrations or transformations.
• Experience with Kubernetes / OpenShift and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and Git.
• Familiarity with Domain-Driven Design (DDD).
• Understanding of industry standards and directives: ISO 20022, SWIFT MT/MX, PSD2 / Open Banking.
