VeloBank S.A. is a banking institution operating in Poland with offices in Warszawa, Wrocław, and Katowice. The team is responsible for reliability, maintenance, and development of operational processes for critical electronic banking systems serving hundreds of thousands of clients. The focus is on reducing manual work, standardizing maintenance tasks, and automating repetitive operations to ensure bank services are available, secure, and efficient.

• Minimum 2–3 years experience in system administration, DevOps, operational automation, SRE, or production environments.
• Experience maintaining high-availability production systems.
• Experience handling production incidents and on-call rotations.
• Strong knowledge of Jenkins CI/CD with ability to create and maintain complex pipelines as code.
• Practical experience with Ansible: playbooks, roles, inventory, and automation patterns.
• Basic knowledge of PostgreSQL databases.
• Good knowledge of Linux.
• Practical knowledge of Kubernetes/OpenShift for production applications.
• Basic knowledge or willingness to develop skills in Microsoft Azure for production environment integrations and automation.
• Ability to analyze logs and root causes of failures.
• Practical knowledge of Kibana, Elasticsearch, Graylog, or similar solutions.
• Familiarity with observability concepts such as logs, metrics, alerting, and tracing.
• Ability to work with REST API.
• Ability to create scripts and automation tools emphasizing readability, simplicity, modularity, and version control with Git including branch management and code reviews.
• Ability to write simple Python scripts for diagnostics, automation, and API integration.
• Good knowledge of:

• Experience with OpenTelemetry (collector, auto-instrumentation).
• Knowledge of Zabbix.
• Programming knowledge in Groovy or Java.
• Certifications AZ-104, AZ-400.
• Experience with Azure DevOps.
• Experience with Grafana and Prometheus.
• Knowledge of React, PHP, Dynatrace, Terraform.

• Maintain electronic banking environments.
• Monitor availability, performance, and security of production services.
• Analyze and handle production incidents.
• Participate in rotational on-call duties.
• Design, create, and develop operational automation as code including Jenkins pipelines, Ansible playbooks, scripts, and versioned configurations in Git.
• Develop and maintain complex multi-stage, parameterized CI/CD pipelines with validation, rollback, and quality control.
• Administer application platforms based on Linux servers or containerized environments.
• Collaborate with development teams during deployments and production issue resolution.
• Use AI tools to accelerate log analysis, script creation, documentation, runbooks, and incident summaries.
• Enhance monitoring and observability systems including alerts, dashboards, logs, metrics, and traces.
• Prepare technical documentation, runbooks, and operational procedures.
• Participate in post-mortem analyses and preventive actions.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, network, database, and security teams.
