• Support national and international clients in addressing complex accounting and capital markets issues under IFRS and German GAAP (HGB).
• Assist banks, insurance companies, and asset managers with accounting and regulatory questions related to financial instruments, insurance contracts, structured transactions, or regulatory-driven accounting challenges.
• Participate in projects such as IFRS conversions and implementation of new accounting standards (e.g., IFRS 9, IFRS 15, IFRS 16, IFRS 17), and accounting matters in M&A or private equity transactions.
• Support capital markets projects including due diligence, prospectus preparation, comfort letter processes, and fairness opinions, collaborating with colleagues from audit, tax, legal, and finance teams.
• Contribute to the development of tech-enabled solutions for finance function digitalization including low-code/no-code tools, data analytics, and process mining.
• Work closely with specialists in risk management, regulatory reporting, and IT to deliver integrated solutions for clients.
