Junior Software Engineer

Kellton Europe is a global IT team with about 100 members in Wrocław and additional offices in Poland, UK, and Ireland. They have delivered projects for clients like Zoetis, Apple, Tesla, NATO, and UNICEF since 2008.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Information Systems, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Open to fresh graduates or candidates with minimal professional experience passionate about software engineering, cloud computing, automation, or AI.
• Basic understanding of programming concepts, software development methodologies, and problem-solving techniques.
• Familiarity with at least one programming language: Java, Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, C#, Kotlin, or Swift.
• High analytical and critical-thinking skills with a natural curiosity to learn emerging technologies.
• Strong communication skills and ability to handle confidential banking data responsibly.
• Fluent English and ability to work effectively in a multicultural international environment.
• Great collaboration skills, adaptability, attention to detail, and openness to feedback.

Nice to have:

• Exposure to web, mobile, AI, cloud, database, or automation technologies through academic projects, internships, hackathons, or bootcamps.
• Basic understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile/Scrum practices.

• Assist in the design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance of software applications and digital solutions (Web, Mobile, APIs, Cloud, and AI-enabled apps).
• Collaborate with business users, product owners, software architects, and cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Participate actively in software testing, debugging, troubleshooting, system monitoring, and code reviews.
• Support Agile ceremonies, sprint activities, and contribute to technical documentation, user guides, and knowledge bases.
• Help implement secure, scalable, and reliable technology solutions following established industry standards and stay up to date with modern engineering practices.
