System Test Team Manager - Build Technology That Saves Lives

The ASTRO Consoles team at Motorola Solutions Systems Polska provides mission-critical communication systems for public safety agencies worldwide, supporting police, fire rescue, and emergency services with secure, real-time dispatch solutions that require zero downtime.

• BSc or MSc in Computer Science, Automation, Telecommunications, or related technical engineering discipline.
• Experience leading software test, QA, or system verification teams or equivalent technical/test leadership.
• Strong knowledge of the software development lifecycle with expertise in test strategy, system-level verification, and test automation.
• Practical daily use of AI development tools (e.g., Claude Code, Copilot, Gemini) applied to engineering problems.
• Ability to identify and promptly resolve roadblocks.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical risks to senior stakeholders.
• English language proficiency at B2/C1 level or above.
• Familiarity with Agile and Scrum practices.

Nice to have:

• Experience testing mission-critical, high-availability, or safety-relevant systems.
• Familiarity with land mobile radio, P25/ASTRO, VoIP, or real-time audio.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation frameworks using Python or Java.
• Experience managing physical test labs or hardware-in-the-loop environments.
• Experience applying AI to test generation, log analysis, or failure triage.

• Own the quality bar and set system test strategy across manual verification, system test automation, and lab environments.
• Define quality coverage standards for a zero-failure product and maintain these under schedule pressure.
• Lead AI adoption in testing and drive daily AI usage for test automation and failure triage.
• Build, grow, and coach the test engineering team, setting clear expectations and providing direct feedback.
• Report progress, risks, and issues to leadership across product, engineering, and go-to-market functions.
• Develop deep domain knowledge of public safety voice products, standards, and customer operations.
• Collaborate with development, product, and DevOps teams to improve engineering practices across the lifecycle.
