Senior Java Developer

You will join a team developing solutions responsible for communication of corporate clients with a global financial organization, including system integration, data exchange, file validation, and payment process support. The project is customer-facing, providing visible impact on service quality and reliability, with solutions to verify payment file correctness before sending. Work takes place in an international environment collaborating with teams worldwide. The role allows real impact on system architecture, technical decisions, and platform development, including new features, migration, and modernization projects.

• Minimum 6 years of commercial experience programming in Java.
• Strong knowledge of Spring Framework and designing/implementing REST API.
• Experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL).
• Practical knowledge of CI/CD processes and software development automation.
• Experience creating automated tests using JUnit.
• Basic knowledge of frontend technologies.
• Ability to collaborate effectively in project and international teams.
• Willingness to learn new technologies and business areas.
• Adaptability to changing project environments.
• Desire to actively participate in architecture design and development of modern integration solutions.
• Proficient communication skills in English and Polish at minimum B2 level.

Nice to have:

• Experience in integration, migration, or modernization projects.
• Knowledge of frontend technologies.
• Experience with integration platforms and EDI solutions.
• Familiarity with Kafka, RabbitMQ, and Redis.
• Experience with Docker and container environments.

• Design, develop, and maintain applications based on Java and Spring Framework.
• Create and enhance REST API supporting system integrations.
• Participate in migration, modernization, and refactoring projects.
• Co-design system architecture and make technical decisions for platform growth.
• Ensure code quality through code reviews and automated tests with JUnit.
• Develop CI/CD processes and deployment automation.
• Collaborate with analysts, testers, and international teams in Agile.
• Identify and reduce technical debt, improve performance and stability.
• Analyze and resolve production incidents and implement preventive measures.
• Share knowledge, mentor, and support less experienced team members.

Location: Kraków, hybrid work with 6 days/month in the office.
