Red Hat Ansible Developer Engineer

ABB is a company operating in Information Systems services. The role contributes to Information Systems with main stakeholders including Infrastructure Teams, Application Owners, Service Management, and Security.

• Strong hands-on experience with Ansible and Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform (AAP), including playbook development, managing roles, inventories, and workflows.
• Proven experience in automation, systems engineering, DevOps, or infrastructure operations.
• Solid understanding of Python, Linux, and Windows systems, networking fundamentals, and enterprise IT environments.
• Good knowledge of version control systems, especially Git, and automation best practices.
• Strong problem-solving skills with ability to analyze failures, optimize automation, and propose improvements.
• Proficient in English and able to collaborate with cross-functional technical and business teams.

Nice to have:

• Experience with Jenkins, CI/CD, Bash, DevOps practices, automation, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).

• Support installation, management, maintenance, and optimization of the service for your area and cross-functional Information Systems processes.
• Identify, consolidate, and report inefficiencies or improvement opportunities.
• Review requirements and specifications and identify those requiring action.
• Install and test new versions, investigate, and coordinate resolution of service problems.
• Prepare and maintain operational documentation for system services.
• Deliver Information Systems solutions/services according to Service Level Agreements (SLAs) on time, within budget, and meeting quality standards.
• Diagnose faults, record and report test results.
• Engage proactively with suppliers to resolve incidents, problems, or unsatisfactory performance.
• Monitor and report on supplier performance and customer satisfaction.
• Act in compliance with corporate Information Systems regulations, ABB regulations, and internal control regulations.
• Assess ideas for efficiency improvements and value addition based on technological, financial, and functional feasibilities.
