Senior AI Cloud Engineer

The Digital Transformation Unit operates a global data & analytics cloud platform which supports data & advanced analytics products. The team works on enabling and managing Azure Cloud Services on a globally scalable distributed data, analytics, and AI platform, collaborating closely with Data Engineers, Data Architects, Data Scientists, and Cloud Architects.

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• 3-5 years experience in Microsoft Azure Cloud development, especially Data Platform Stack (ML, Databricks, Data Factory) and Application Development Stack (Container Apps, Web Apps)
• Proficient in Azure Network Design (Private Link, VPC Setup, Azure Firewall) and Azure Authentication Management
• Coding skills in PowerShell, Azure Resource Manager/ARM, Bicep, Terraform, CI/CD, GitHub, and GitHub Actions
• Knowledge of Data Modelling, Data Warehousing, Data Science, application development, and Snowflake is a plus
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills combined with business judgment
• Good documentation and communication skills
• Intercultural awareness and willingness to travel
• Fluent in English (written and spoken)

• Contribute to platform roadmap with cloud architects and derive requirements for missing capabilities
• Plan, design, and enable services on Azure Cloud Platform and Databricks based on requirements, aligned with security and scaling guidelines
• Implement and deploy changes in cooperation with the platform operations team
• Train the platform operations team and provide documentation for new features
• Assess platform compliance and implement solutions for guideline adherence
• Collaborate with technology, implementation, central cloud, network, security, and cyber security teams to overcome issues
