Android Engineer (mid-level)

The Tripadvisor Group connects people to experiences worth sharing and operates multiple travel brands including Tripadvisor, Viator, and TheFork. The Tripadvisor Experiences Engineering team, distributed across Europe, manages the platform, mobile apps, and supporting infrastructure that enable operators and customer service teams internationally.

• Experience developing Android applications
• Familiarity with mobile web and back-end technologies is beneficial
• 2-8 years of commercial software development experience
• Experience with reactive programming on native mobile platforms
• Willingness and ability to learn new technologies
• Ability to simplify complex problems
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Sense of ownership and pride in work

• Write code focusing on Android app development
• Work on backend microservices when needed
• Collaborate with Product and design teams to define features and deliver high-quality results
• Take responsibility for all aspects of software engineering including design, development, QA, and maintenance
• Collaborate with global engineering groups

This role is open to candidates based within a commutable distance (up to 1.5 hours) of the Kraków office. B2B contracts are not offered.
