Senior Distributed Systems Engineer / Tech Lead

Its proprietary ad-buying engine is powered entirely by Deep Learning algorithms. The core business involves a Bidding Platform processing over 20 million requests per second in real-time auctions across 90+ countries.

• Excellent understanding of complex IT systems, spanning hardware, software, and algorithms.
• Very good knowledge of fundamental Internet protocols and technologies (DNS, HTTP, cookies, etc.).
• Good knowledge of concurrent programming and distributed systems, from thread level to geo-distributed clusters.
• Practical skills in observing, monitoring, and analyzing production systems.
• Ability to critically analyze solutions for performance issues and optimization.
• General knowledge of high scalability and high availability challenges and solutions.
• C1 level proficiency in both English and Polish.

• Design and lead implementation of system changes to deliver high performance, scalability, and observability for advertising display and tracking worldwide.
• Develop tools and optimizations to improve critical user performance metrics.
• Implement, test, deploy, monitor, and maintain HTTP / gRPC services and batch jobs in Java and Python.
• Set up environments, write configuration code, and monitor production systems.
• Provide hands-on technical leadership by solving complex system challenges.
• Participate in planning, scoping, and ensure high coding standards through code reviews.
