Senior AI Engineer (Agentic SDLC)

Scalo delivers software projects and supports partners in business development. They create software enabling faster action and better outcomes, offering IT services including technology consulting, software development, embedded systems, cloud solutions, data management, and dedicated project teams.

• Minimum 5 years of technical experience in software development projects, e.g., as Software Developer, DevOps Engineer, QA/Test Automation Engineer, or related role
• Practical experience designing and implementing AI solutions supporting SDLC, using tools like GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, M365 Copilot, or open-source models
• Practical skills in building AI agents, workflows, skills, and prompts and integrating them into development environments
• Knowledge of Spec-Driven Development and modern AI-supported software engineering practices
• Familiarity with LLM, RAG, automation, and agent architectures
• Experience integrating AI with repositories, CI/CD, code review, and testing processes
• Ability to translate business and technical needs into concrete AI solutions and evaluate their implementation outcomes
• Experience transferring engineering knowledge via pair/mob programming, code reviews, technical workshops, or joint solution design
• Awareness of software development realities in large organizations and security/compliance requirements
• Strong communication and consulting skills; ability to collaborate with technical teams and stakeholders

Nice to have:

• Practical experience with agent frameworks such as LangGraph
• Knowledge of Model Context Protocol (MCP)
• Experience with RAG solutions and open-source models
• Experience working in financial or regulated sectors
• Experience measuring AI deployment effectiveness and optimizing model usage costs

• Design, build, and implement Agentic SDLC solutions in software development teams
• Develop AI agents, workflows, skills, and prompts supporting software development
• Integrate AI solutions with code repositories, developer tools, CI/CD, code review, and testing
• Implement and evolve Spec-Driven Development and AI-supported software engineering practices
• Design solutions leveraging LLM, RAG, automation, and agent architectures
• Analyze business and technical requirements to define AI solutions and initiatives
• Conduct technical discovery and workshops supporting design and implementation
• Monitor AI solution usage, measure effectiveness, and iteratively improve implementations
• Analyze business value of AI solutions and optimize model usage costs
• Transfer engineering knowledge via pair/mob programming, code reviews, and collaborative design
• Create and unify AI usage standards and select Agentic SDLC practices for team roles
• Support teams in autonomous maintenance and further development of AI solutions

The project location is Warsaw. Services are delivered in a hybrid mode with a minimum of one day per week in the client office in Warsaw, the rest remotely.
