The role is part of the Enterprise Infrastructure & Cloud Services organization (EICS), responsible for Lab IT infrastructure and service delivery across engineering, R&D, and Laboratories globally.
Wymagania
- 10 years' experience in data center operations, lab infrastructure, factory IT operations, or mission-critical technical environments
- Strong understanding of IT service management, SLA delivery, operating models, escalation processes, and 24x7 support operations
- Experience managing solid-line and dotted-line resources across technical operations, service delivery, and business-aligned support
- Strong knowledge of operational monitoring and cybersecurity controls for mission-critical environments
- Experience in managing multi-site or global delivery
- Proven success in leading infrastructure, service transformation, and operational-improvement programs
- Familiarity with safety, operational, compliance, cybersecurity, asset-management, and monitoring standards
- Proficiency with capacity planning tools, asset-management solutions, monitoring platforms, ServiceNow, and financial systems
- Leadership and stakeholder influence across cross-functional teams, Digital Office service owners, business segments, and senior stakeholders
- Problem-solving, decision-making, and agility in high-pressure operational environments
- Strong organizational, planning, rota-management, and time-management skills
Obowiązki
1. Strategic Lab IT Infrastructure services Planning:
- Define Lab IT infrastructure architecture and service strategy, including capacity planning, modernization, consolidation, and future expansion
- Deliver service levels and SLAs aligned with business needs and operational capabilities
- Align infrastructure and service delivery with engineering priorities, Digital Office ownership, cybersecurity, and corporate objectives
- Evaluate readiness and support needs for new or expanded lab and factory environments
2. Technical Infrastructure Governance:
- Own governance for datacenter, manufacturing, lab, fab, factory, and mission-critical infrastructure within EICS
- Ensure lab environments comply with operational and information-security standards
- Set up governance with Lab leaders and stakeholders for performance review and continuous improvement
- Establish frameworks for high-density compute, network, resiliency, monitoring, and lab IT operations
3. Program & Project Delivery:
- Lead or oversee complex projects for datacenter and labs expansions, modernization, and service improvements
- Coordinate with Engineering, IT, Security, Operations, Digital Office, and EICS teams for integrated project delivery
- Transform people, processes, and tools delivering Lab/Fab IT services
- Ensure execution meets SLA, safety, compliance, quality, schedule, budget, resiliency, and operational-readiness targets
4. Operational Excellence & Performance:
- Monitor SLA attainment, uptime, incident response, and service quality
- Maintain 24x7 support schedules and rota coverage
- Manage resources for lab maintenance and operational support
- Define Mode of Operation with Digital Office service owners including escalation paths and resource assignments
- Drive optimization in harmonization, standardization, automation, and support maturity
- Lead risk assessments, failure analyses, service reviews, and mitigation plans
5. Asset Management, Monitoring & Security Operations:
- Ensure IT assets are monitored by the Cyber Defense Center and integrated into operational monitoring
- Own Lab IT asset-management ensuring accurate inventory and compliance with asset-management solutions
- Drive remediation of gaps in assets, monitoring, operational, and security controls
6. Financial & Portfolio Management:
- Support business cases, cost models, funding packages, and strategic investments for EICS infrastructure
- Manage Opex/Capex planning, forecasting, and oversight
- Identify cost-saving opportunities through consolidation and modernization
7. Cross-Functional Collaboration & Stakeholder Management:
- Engage regularly with R&D, Network Infrastructure, IT Infrastructure, Security, Cyber Defense Center, Operations, Digital Office, Lab leaders, and Business segments
- Maintain trusted relationships with key stakeholders
- Ensure decisions reflect engineering, cybersecurity, operational, and business priorities
- Facilitate transparent communication, performance reviews, escalation management, and alignment
8. Risk, Compliance & Safety:
- Implement risk-management frameworks for critical systems, resilience, and incident preparedness
- Ensure compliance with global standards, local regulations, corporate policies, and operational/security blueprints
- Lead readiness assessments and escalation support during critical outages, incidents, audits, or operational events
