Automation Engineer

DPDgroup IT Solutions sp. z o.o. is part of Geopost, the largest parcel delivery network in Europe. Founded in Poland in 2018, the company delivers solutions supporting the global IT and Tech operations of Geopost. The team consists of over 180 specialists engaged in ambitious projects worldwide, covering software delivery, project management, analysis, testing, and support.

• At least 3 years of experience with n8n, Node.js, or Python
• Practical experience in automation and system integrations
• Strong hands-on knowledge of Node.js or Python
• Experience with REST APIs, JSON, HTTP, and authentication
• Practical knowledge of n8n and workflow design
• Understanding of databases, particularly PostgreSQL
• Practical knowledge of Docker and Docker Compose
• Experience with Git and code review workflows
• Understanding of error handling, retries, timeouts, logging, and debugging
• Practical understanding of LLMs and AI-assisted development
• Ability to critically review AI-generated code and solutions
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of delivered solutions
• Good communication skills and willingness to collaborate with business and technical teams
• Good verbal and written communication skills in English (minimum B2 level)

Nice to have:

• Experience with LLMs in production environments
• Experience with Cursor, Cline, Claude Code, or similar AI development tools
• Experience with RPA or enterprise automation
• Knowledge of GitLab CI/CD
• Experience with Kubernetes, Helm, Kafka, Vault, Liquibase, or Langfuse

• Design and develop automation workflows in n8n
• Build multi-stage pipelines and sub-workflows
• Develop business logic using Node.js or Python
• Integrate automations with internal and external systems, including APIs
• Work with systems such as Jira, GitLab, SharePoint, PostgreSQL, and Excel/XLSX
• Implement AI and LLM components in business processes
• Debug, maintain, and optimize existing automations
• Respond to production issues and changes in external APIs
• Work with specifications and collaborate with business and technical stakeholders
• Review code and support deployments through GitLab and CI/CD processes
